CLELAND-based Colville Art Club are presenting an exhibition of mixed media work at Wishaw Library this month showcasing some of the rich and diverse talent which exists in North Lanarkshire.

The exhibition is free, and will run in the library until Friday, June 27. All are invited to visit this selection of works in a variety of media and subject matter.

Colville Art Club meets every Tuesday morning at Cleland's Colville Hall, under the tutelage of Tom Melville.

New members are always welcome and the club is for anyone interested in the fine arts and with some time to spare.

Long standing member Sadie Rintoul said: "The class offers a relaxing and focused environment where we are encouraged and inspired by each other. The more we learn, the more we realise how much we still have to go!"

For further information either on this exhibition or how to join the club contact North Lanarkshire Council's arts development officer on 01236 607419.
