OFTEN billed as the greatest singer-songwriter of his generation, Paul Weller will be at Motherwell Concert Hall on Wednesday, May 14.
The sold-out Motherwell gig is part of a 12-date UK tour which will act as the warm-up to the launch of his first new studio album since 2005, called As Is Now.

The past 15 years have seen Paul establish a highly-acclaimed solo career in the wake of his success with The Jam and Style Council, with albums like Wild Wood, Stanley Road, Heliocentric and Illumination.

A tour spokesman said: "Respected by his peers, cited as an inspiration in influencing the music-making of numerous breaking bands and attracting a legion of fans, Paul remains at the top of his career over three decades since his first single release."

Paul will be performing debut tracks from his forthcoming album 22 Dreams as well as classic Weller numbers past and present.
