RAINBOW Room International's Uddingston salon team raised £1,500 for the Hair and Beauty Benevolent (HABB) by holding a hair and fashion show in The Tunnel, Glasgow.

Salon director Suzie McGill said: "We are proud to be able to make a difference and do our bit for such a fantastic charity. We are able to use our skills and creativity to generate much needed funds for HABB and that is very important.

"I am so proud of the team, they are passionate, full of ideas and are inspired by everything around them."

Meanwhile, the salon has made it through to the grand final of industry competition, UK's Most Wanted being held in London in September.

Presented by trade magazine Creative HEAD and sponsored by Wella Professionals, the competition celebrates the very best creative
and business talents in British hairdressing with Rainbow Room one of three finalists in the category of UK's Most Wanted Salon Team.

Suzie said: "This is such a amazing achievement, we are
so proud to be finalists as we know that competition in the Most Wanted Awards is extremely high.

"We are all looking forward to the awards evening, which we're sure will be a great night!"
