Four-legged friends enjoy fun in the park
OVER 5,000 people and their furry friends visited Strathclyde Park at the weekend for a Dogs Trust fun day.
The event featured a range of activities and competitions including a fun dog show, agility demonstrations and vet checks.
There was also a number of 'special guests' including prison sniffer dogs.
Sandra Downie, Dogs Trust Glasgow centre manager, said: "We were all absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible turnout on Sunday — it's certainly been the highlight of our doggy calendar so far.
"Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported us. It was fantastic to see so many two-legged and of course four-legged fun and frolics.
"The money raised will go towards the care of our gorgeous canine residents, they too are extremely grateful."
