Ward’s Weather Watch
There will be long sunny spells leading to clear skies at night but this will mean another threat to plants as temps drop to -2c overnight.
The clear night will lead to a nice sunny start on Thursday but thundery hail showers could develop in the afternoon; thicker cloud and persistent rain will arrive in the evening as another low pressure system moves in off the Atlantic.

Hide AdIt is too early to be certain but the low is likely to stall over Scotland causing rain to hang around all day on Friday with temperatures only around 9c.
The low should start to move away on Saturday leaving scattered showers around which should clear by late afternoon giving a sunny end to the day.
Sunday may bring a taste of summer! It isn’t certain at this point in the week but Sunday looks to be a very warm sunny day. With clear sky, no wind and temperatures reaching 16c, it will definitely be a day for the BBQ.
