The NVT Group, whose headquarters are at Righead Industrial Estate, has been appointed to provide desktop hardware support services for PCs, laptops, printers and scanners to organisation who are part of the Central Government Centre of Procurement Expertise (CGCoPE).

The CGCoPE framework was set up as part of central Government's drive to reduce the costs of its IT operations whilst improving levels of service.

Under the terms of the three-year deal NVT will provide services for the Scottish Government, Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, Scottish Court Service, Scottish Prison Service and National Galleries.

Hamish Fraser, NVT's head of business solutions, said: "We have been trying to win this contract since 1997 and over the years have gained huge experience of the tender submissions process.
