Councillor Lafferty, convener for social work and health, told The Extra: “This is another event to gain your thoughts and comments on the proposed Eastwood Health Centre in its initial stages, so please come along and see the design plans and tell us what you think.
“We’ll take on board all your comments and they will help to influence the design of the centre and how it delivers services to the community.”
Everyone who comes along will have the opportunity to speak to the architects and view the site plan and proposals for the building interior and exterior.

Hide AdThe event is part of the Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) consultation, and discussions taking place around the new health centre.
These discussions will enable the CHCP to understand and take into account the full range of local needs and views.
The consultation is running in conjunction with the Public Partnership Forum (PFF), which is keen to learn more about how people would like to travel to the new centre.
Views gained will then inform discussions between the CHCP and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) about how to make the centre as accessible as possible.
