Condorrat community work hailed in Scots Parly
The creation of the Condorrat Memorial Wall inspired Jamie Hepburn MSP to lodge a motion which congratulates Condorrat Tenants and Residents Association.
The group fundraised for several years to make the dream a reality - and finally unveiled the fruits of their labours during an emotional ceremony last month.

Mr Hepburn let his fellow Parliamentarians know all about the wall and concluded his motion with the words ‘‘This memorial is testament to the sacrifice of those who went before.’’
The group’s vice chairman, John Burke, has already been honoured at Holyrood after Mr Hepburn asked him to take part in the Riding ceremony, which marked the fourth opening session of the devolved Parliament.
