Cumbernauld will have new sub-post office
Post Office bosses have confirmed that Greenfaulds Licensed Grocers will add an additional service at the retail counter from Tuesday, March 8.
The service will operate seven days a week up to 2pm on Sundays and aims to address of shortage of these facilities within this area.

Hide AdPost Office field change advisor Angela Bettison said: “We recognised the gap in our existing Post Office branch network and are delighted to be opening a brand new local branch with extended opening hours to meet the needs of the community.
Jamie Hepburn MSP has welcomed the news.
He said: “It is vitally important for local people to have access to the type of service it will provide.
“This will make a big difference to customers.’’
Cumbernauld controversially lost its crown post office last year.
The service has now been incorporated into a branch of WH Smith downstairs in Cumbernauld Centre.
