Festival of dreams
PERFECTING A POSE . . . ballet was another activity that the pupils were given a chance to try out. (Ref: 111125-02a).
YOUNGSTERS from schools across North Lanarkshire were introduced to the arts at a special event held in Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility recently.
Organised by Active Schools, The Arts Festival allowed P2 pupils to try out a range of activities which could help them achieve a wide range of sporting dreams.
The activities were provided by seven local clubs including The L School of Dance, Pro Judo, UKTC (taekwondo), Akasha School of Yoga, Scottish Tumblers Gymnastics, Yogibairns and Scottish Tumblers (gymnastics).
During the festival, the pupils were split into groups and got a chance to try out each of the activities.
