FIGHTERS from Viewpark Amateur Boxing Club picked up a number of titles as the club enjoyed another successful season.

Josh Mitchell won gold at the Scottish Novice championship, Lee Morrell won silver in the Scottish Novice and Western District championships and Joe Wiseman won silver in the Western District.

Michael McGurk retained his gold in the Westerns and won gold in the Scottish championship while Lewis Bryce took silver in the Westerns and won in a West vs North select.

Andy McKenzie retained his gold in the Western and won silver in the Scottish and will represent Scotland later this year. Conner Mason had his first fight this season.

The club will hold a race night at Burnhead Bowling Club on Friday, May 9, at 7pm.
