MEMBERS of the Tannochside Rangers Supporters' Club paid a moving tribute to their late president Jackie Hamilton when they unveiled a new pennant in his memory.

Jackie, who died last September, was the club president for 40 years and was a popular figure, not just in Rangers circles but in the Tannochside area in general.

After he passed away the club decided to pay a permanent tribute in the form of a pennant which was unveiled by his widow, Senga, at a function in Tannochside Olde Club attended by 150 family members, friends and members of the supporters' club.

At the request of the Hamilton family £1,000 raised through a raffle and auction is being donated to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
