Carluke darter hopes for amalgamation of the sport’s governing bodies
BDO stalwart Gary (53), of Whiteshaw Avenue, was disappointed that the BDO hierarchy rejected their big money rival’s recent unification attempt, but believes it could happen one day.
He said: “I’ve always wanted just one body for darts, but the BDO knocked back the PDC’s offer.

Hide Ad“I think it was because the PDC wanted to include all the female and junior players together under the one corporation.
“I certainly wouldn’t knock back the chance of joining the PDC one day, as there’s big money to be made. But time is against me now at my age, so I’ll just keep playing away and see what happens.”
