Juniors aiming for victory as Lanarkshire derbies loom

JUNIOR side Bellshill Athletic will look to get their first league win at the third time of asking when they travel to face Cumbernauld United this Saturday.

Bellshill twice came from behind at home to Whitletts Victoria in their Super League First division clash on Saturday to earn a point.

Thorniewood lost a seven-goal thriller 4-3 away to Vale of Leven in the Central League Division 1 on Saturday.

Finding themselves 4-1 down they staged a remarkable comeback but it wasnt quite enough to recuse a point.

They will be out to get back to winning ways when they meet Kilsyth Rangers at Robertson Park this Saturday.

Both games will kick off at 2pm.
