Motherwell freshen up for Euro push

MOTHERWELL players are enjoying a well-earned break this week after their win over Hearts at Fir Park on Saturday continued a stunning run of form since the turn of the year.

'Well are now level on points with Dundee United, who they next face at Tannadice on March 27 and one point ahead of fifth-placed Hibs, though they have played two games more than both of them.

Meanwhile, manager Craig Brown will be speaking to agents this week as he bids to hold on to players next season.

He said: "It's not right to name individuals, but all the players know I want to keep them. There's not one single player in the first team pool who has been playing regularly for us that I don't want to keep.

"It's a case of trying to get things thrashed out and I'll use this week to try to do that. If we can get agreements that'll save us a bit of a search elsewhere."
