The winger played a slide rule pass into the path of Davie Winters who dinked his effort over the advancing Graeme Murphy in the visitor’s goal to open the scoring.

Hide AdWinters doubled his tally for the afternoon on the half hour mark after Murphy parried a Finlay Frye effort into his path for an easy finish.
He completed his hat-trick two minutes later when Jordan Longmuir’s kick from hand bounced over the Thorniewood defence and Winters was on hand to lob Murphy with a first time effort.
With a three goal lead at the interval, ‘Lok eased off somewhat in the second period, and indeed it was the visiting Woodies who had the best chance of the half.
Charlie Grant played in Gary Millar who cut the ball back to Daly McSorley, his effort saved at point blank range by Longmuir.
Next up for Pollok is another home cup-tie, this time in the Scottish Junior Cup when Whitletts Victoria visit Newlandsfield.
